It starts on April 20th.

According to the Daily Freeman, if you want to see one of the most beautiful places the Hudson Valley has to offer this month and you would like to do it for free, here is what you need to do.

To get a free one month pass to the Mohonk Preserve, first you need to be an Ulster County resident and have legal proof.

Then you need to visit the Preserve Visitor Center on Route 44/55 in Gardiner on April 20th through April 23rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or you can go to the Spring Farm Trailhead in High Falls from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 22nd and 23rd.

The passes do need to be picked up in person and once granted will be good until May 21st.

The free passes are being offered up for the sixth year in a row and is all part of Ulster County’s Healthy Ulster program that continues to try and make Ulster County one of the healthiest counties in the state.
