Merry Christmas From Christy Cottage

To me, the holidays have always been special. I think Christmas Eve is the most magical night of the year, if ever there was a time when the world would come together in peace, it would be this night. I've had many moving, and some, even miraculous events in my life happen on Christmas Eve.

The holidays are also about memories, traditions, family, and friends. Every year, I decorate our home with all of that in mind. We carry on older traditions while we have started some of our own. Each ornament taken out of it's wrapping invokes a memory and our mantle is decorated with Santas collected over the years, with memories of friends who have either made them or given them to me.

So at this most magical time of year, I thought I'd share what our little cottage looks like all decked out for the holidays and share some of our most treasured ornaments. I hope you like it.
