As if Roger and Joanie’s reunion weren’t enough, Matt Weiner’s latest additions to Amazon anthology The Romanoffs will really drive you Mad. The series adds even more producers, writers and directors from Mad Men’s hallowed halls, before its 2018 premiere.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Weiner’s eight-episode The Romanoffs has added thirteen producers, writers, costume designers and more from Mad Men history, including writer/executive producer Semi Chellas, Blake McCormick, Andre Jacquemetton, Maria Jacquemetton, director of photography Chris Manley, production designers Henry Dunn and Christopher Brown, hair and makeup’s Theraesa Rivers and Lana Horochowski, Emmy-winning casting directors Carrie Audino, Laura Schiff and Kendra Clark, and revered costume designer Janie Bryant.

So far starring Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Oscar-nominee Isabelle Huppert, Boardwalk Empire alum Jack Huston, Amanda Peet and Marthe Keller, the 2018 series follows “people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Romanov [family, the last imperial dynasty to rule Russia].” Each episode will feature a different cast, a different story and a different location for those claiming familial ties to the son and daughter that apparently escaped the 1918 massacre of the czar and his family.

Weiner will write and executive produce the new series, also directing a portion of the eight-episode order. The series is also estimated to cost $50 million for Amazon and The Weinstein Co., down from the initial $70 million reported. The Romanoffs will debut on Amazon in 2018, so stay tuned for the latest announcements.
