Make Christmas Bows With Beth Christy

While Christmas is only two weeks away, I actually start planning my decorations in the middle of summer when the heat and humidity are bearing down on us. I know, it's a sickness, as my family and friends remind me every year in July.

This year, I decided to do something I had always wanted to do, I would make decorated garland for every doorway in our home. My husband thought I was crazy. The first thing I had to do was figure out the bows.

I had never made bows before, but after I priced out how much it would cost to get what I needed, I thought I would give it a try, after all, if it didn't work I could still go buy them. I started slow and then I just took off, I became a bow-making machine.

I shared the photos on Facebook and some of my friends wanted me to show them how I made them, so I thought I'd share it with you too. I am not a professional videographer or bow maker, so please bear with me in the video below.
