Loretta Lynn and her sister Crystal Gayle are mourning a sad family loss: Donald Ray Webb, one of their four brothers, died on Friday (Oct. 13). He was 76 years old.

According to Webb's obituary, he died at his home in Wabash, Ind., with family members by his side. He was born in Butcher Holler, Ky., on April 2, 1941, the fifth of Melvin "Ted" Webb and Clara Marie (Ramey) Webb's eight children.

Webb enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and playing music. Gayle even recorded one of his songs, "Clock on the Wall," for her I've Cried the Blue Right Out of My Eyes album, which was released in 1978.

Webb is survived by his wife Debra and four children -- daughters Janie and Donna, son Michael and stepdaughter Paula -- as well as 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to Lynn and Gayle, he is also survived by his sisters Peggy and Betty, his brother Herman and his stepsister Lawanda.

Webb's funeral service and visitation hours are scheduled for Oct. 18 in Wabash, Ind.
