Local State Park offer Spring Sunrise Event

The Walkway Over The Hudson is going to get a jump on the first weekend of Spring. Now that the groundhogs have agreed that Spring is on the way it is time to plan Spring time events. Sunrise Stroll is officially on the calendar for Sunday March 24th.

Those of you who like to get up with the birds are invited out on March 24th to celebrate the first Sunday of Spring with a Sunrise Stroll. Both the East side and West side gates of the Walkway will open that day at 6:30 am. That means that no matter which side you wish to start on you can meet in the middle and take in the breath taking views of the Hudson River that only the Walkway Over the Hudson can offer. Catch an early Spring sunrise and get in an early morning walk while you at it.

Bring your cameras and capture the first Sunday sunrise. Meet and Greet with other morning enthusiasts. The event is free to Walkway member. Donations from non-member are encouraged or better yet just decide that day to become a member.
