Local Police Seek Assistance in IDing Cats Left At Cemetery
Orange County Police are asking the public to help identify the owner of two cats that were abandoned at a cemetery. Port Jervis Police say they found the cats Monday afternoon in black travel bags behind a gravestone at the Laurel Grove Cemetery.
One cat is white, black and gray, appears older, and weighs around 15-20 pounds. It has a blue collar with a bell.
The second is brown and black striped.
Officials say both cats appear to be in good health and are friendly. Anyone with information as to the identity of the owner of these cats is urged to call the Port Jervis Police Department at 845-856-5101. All calls will be kept confidential.
