Local Man Allegedly Chokes Pregnant Stepdaughter

A Saugerties man has been charged with choking his pregnant 15-year-old stepdaughter on Wednesday.

Police told the Daily Freeman that, Trashaun Mosley, was charged with the one misdemeanor count of obstruction of breathing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The victim, who is eight months pregnant, was taken to the HealthAlliance Hospital’s in Kingston for evaluation.

Mosley was arraigned in Saugerties Village Court, sent to the Ulster County Jail and ordered to stay away from the victim.
