This seems like it would be pretty high on the priority list of things to fix. After doing a survey on the street lights in Uptown Kingston, they found almost 80 bulbs were out.

According to Mid Hudson News, 78 bulbs were out. Kingston's mayor Shane Gallo told Mid Hudson News, replacing the bulbs isn't as easy as you think. He said, “The problem is that there are different owners that we are finding of the different poles, different utilities. It makes it difficult to ascertain who is responsible for it to change,”

Some of the poles and lights are owned by Central Hudson while others are the property of Verizon, other utilities or the city.
