Back in May the City of Kingston announced the "Movie Under the Stars" program.

The movie scheduled to play the movie Minions tonight at Barmann park has been moved to Academy Green.

The movie under the stars program was stared back in 2011 by a group of Kingston community volunteers that hope to connect residents and visitors to Kingston’s parks and public areas through a series of outdoor movies.

Kingston Mayor Steve Noble told the Times Herald Record that, “This is an excellent opportunity for individuals and families to enjoy a free, fun night out. My son is already counting down the days until the first movie, I want to thank our staff and volunteers who are working together to keep this great free program going in our community.”

The 2016 Summer Movie Schedule kicked off on June 3rd and continues all summer. Here is the full line up:

June 17: "Minions," at Academy Green

July 15: "Little Giants," at Dietz Stadium

July 29: "The Theory of Everything," at Wall Street

Aug. 12: "Finding Nemo," at Loughran Park

Admission for all movies is free and all movies will start at 8:30 p.m.
