KFC Is Offering $11,000 to Name Your Child

If you or someone you know is expecting a baby any day now there new baby could win them $11,000, thanks to the chicken people over at KFC.

According to the website the take out, KFC has just launched a contest in honor of the real Colonel Sanders's birthday. The Colonel's full name is Harland Sanders and he was born on September 9th, 1890 and to celebrate his birthday this year they are offering up some cash.

If you give birth on September 9th and legally name your child Harland, you'll be eligible to win $11,000. The number 11 is big for KFC because of the secret 11 herbs and spices in their recipe.

Now if you name your kid Harland your just eligible to win the money so if a bunch of parents name their kids Harland they will randomly pick one for the cash prize.

So I guess you have to ask yourself is 11 grand worth naming your child Harland for the rest of his life?
