With today being election day (Get out and vote). The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Kerhonkson woman following a complaint of stolen campaign signs. Her name is Cathleen Stachelradt. She was charged with larceny, a misdemeanor.

According to the Daily Freeman on Monday the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a political sign in support of an unidentified Town of Rochester candidate being stolen.

Through investigation Stachelradt was found to have removed the sign from along U.S. Route 209 in Kerhonkson and disposed of it in a dumpster in the village of Ellenville.

No word as to why she stole the sign
