Jess’ ‘This is Us’ Season Premier Reaction

Whoa. Okay. I'm still trying to process the last 3 minutes of the show.

(Some spoilers ahead! Don't say I didn't warn you.)

Last night season 2 of NBC's wildly popular family drama This is Us premiered. And it was a whirlwind the whole hour. We left off last season with Jack and Rebecca Pearson taking a step back from their marriage after a blow out fight.

In my opinion the episode started out a little slow, but I think that was just us trying to get back into the swing of things and plus was worried about when the tears were going to start.

This season kicks off just like last, on the big threes birthday. Randall is in the process of adopting a baby (which his wife Beth is none to happy about) Kate is getting ready to audition as a lead singer of a popular wedding band in California and Kevin is wrapping up filming a movie.

Through flashbacks we learn how the kids find out about Jack and Rebeccas' marital problems and also that the kids were 17 when they found out Jack died.

That's what we were all waiting for.

We see Rebecca is driving with all of Jacks personal belongings and pulls up in front of a burnt Pearson house that is surround by yellow tape. The sound that came out of my mouth wasn't human.

What do we think?

Personally I think that Jack died in the fire saving his family.
