I feel like I've been gone for ages! But I'm thrilled to be back in the studio with CJ.

Last week I left CJ all by himself and headed on down to North Carolina for a few days of R&R. So lets rewind back to two weeks ago and the Dutchess County Fair. I didn't get a chance to recap the last day, better late than never right?

In case you missed it CJ and I were looking to shake 943 and 973 hands while we broadcast live from the fair and because you guys are so awesome, we hit our goal easily. A bunch of you stopped by, snapped some pictures, chatted us up and bought our awesome t-shirts.

You guys definitely showed up on Friday. Chase Rice was set to perform on the Grandstand Stage and the energy was buzzing. Also buzzing? CJ as he left the fair and left me alone to do the stage announcement for Mr. Rice. I'm not going to lie, I was nervous. But the crowd was AMAZING. The show unfortunately was set back a half an hour due to an accident on the Kingston Rhinecliff  bridge.  The show went off without a hitch and because I felt bad CJ missed the show, I had the crowd give him a little shout out:

And I know you're all wondering if I'm getting over Sam Hunt. The answer is yes...with Chase Rice:

Good lord, he's fine.
