Taylor Swift set a pretty big trend recently by pulling all of her music, including her recent '1989' album, off of Spotify. Jason Aldean, Justin Moore and others quickly followed suit.

Spotify if you're not familiar is a popular music streaming app. You can listen to an album full through, without purchasing it, from your computer. If you want to stream the album say in your car or when you're away from the computer, you have to purchase the app. It's a couple dollars a month. Many artist who are pulling their albums off Spotify are saying it's because the people who work hard on the albums are not getting the recognition and money they deserve.

Jake Owen is one of the many who still have their music on the streaming site. And don't expect it to come down any time soon. Jake said he's "all about getting the most people to hear your music" and that he really "just wants to reach fans." He also added that while he thinks artist have their specific reasons for leaving Spotify, he's "never been driven by money."

Well, that's direct! What do you think about the Spotify scandal going on? Do you think Jake has a point?
