This got pretty heated on the show today.

When it comes to having dinner, do you consider soup a meal? My sister invited me over for dinner the other day and when I asked her what she was making she told me that we were going to have soup. I was like, no what's the main course, she said "soup" and the debate got started there.

Now first I don't want to sound like I don't appreciate the invitation for dinner BUT, soup is not a meal.

If you sit down on a cold night for dinner, you don't just have a bowl of tomato soup right?, you have the soup with a grilled cheese and boom, that's a meal.

As far as I'm concerned a dinner needs to consist of at least half meat and then some other stuff like veggies, potatoes, bread or whatever.

What do you think? Is soup a meal or does is need to have something else with it? Call the show anytime at 845-473-9431 or leave us a comment on Facebook.
