Hudson Valley Man ‘Blasted’ After Shower With His Dog

Is it weird for a man to take a shower with his dog?

If you consider yourself a dog person like many of us do would you say that it's weird for a guy to take a shower with his dog? A Poughkeepsie woman shared with us a situation that unfolded in the bathroom at her house the other day and she's wondering how the Hudson Valley feels about it.

Showering With Your Dog?

Here's what she sent us,

"I walked into our house after work the other day and found my boyfriend showering with our dog! We have one of those walk-in showers and since we don't have a bathtub, he says there's no place to easily give our dog a bath without getting soaked himself. He figured if he was going to get soaking wet, he might as well shower too. When I walked in and saw him standing there naked, scrubbing our dog I was creeped out to say the least!! GROSS!!! I asked him to never do that again! He laughed and called me a big baby. I'm sorry. I love our dog too but there are limits to things you should be doing with your dog! I told him I was going to text you guys and he said 'go ahead. You'll see, tons of people do this!' What do you guys think?"

Honestly, I don't think I would ever think to do anything like this but understand where her boyfriend was coming from. Instead of getting soaked, he decided to use some "man logic" and kill two birds with one stone, right? I know that many in the Hudson Valley commented that the shock of seeing anyone naked scrubbing a dog would creep almost everyone out.....LOL! Others suggested that next time instead of washing the dog naked maybe he put on a bathing suit.

Marty from Sherman texted us an interesting twist: "Dogs deff don’t care that you’re naked! If you are going to get dirty and wet anyway just shower together! If it was the other way around and he walked in on her naked even if it’s with the dog you better not ever use the word gross!"
