In Touch is our weekly half hour public affairs show and this week I had the chance to speak with folks from The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Jessica Fetonti, Special Events Coordinator and Toni Gutter, Director of Development stopped by our studio this week to talk about their services and the increase in the demand for food at all of the local food pantries and soup kitchens.

They serve 6 counties in the Hudson Valley area, and when you donate to them $1 can provide 4 meals. While they don't distribute food to individuals themselves, they do make sure the shelves at food pantries and other locales are stocked to help feed families here in the Hudson Valley.

The annual Walk to Fight Hunger is coming to the Walkway over the Hudson on October 10 and you can get all the details here. Here's this week's interview in it's entirety. If you'd like more information about how you can volunteer or donate, please click here.
