Identity Thief Went on $3,700 Best Buy Shopping Spree, Police Say

This man racked up a large bill on a Best Buy credit card. The only problem? It wasn't his card.

New York State Police in Wappinger are looking for a man caught on surveillance footage purchasing over $3,700 worth of merchandise in December using another person's Best Buy credit card account number. The purchases were made at the Best Buy stores in Poughkeepsie and Middletown.

Police have asked for the public's help in identifying the man shown in the camera stills above. Authorities want to question him in their investigation.
