This morning's commute was brutal in parts of the Hudson Valley and we have the pictures to prove it.

Over in parts of Orange and Sullivan counties some overnight ice created awful travel conditions for quite some time.

According to the Rock Hill Fire Department's Facebook page, they were dispatched to a multi-vehicle motor vehicle accident on NYS Route 17 West between exits 110 and 109 and upon arrival they came across a tractor-trailer and car accident caused by the overnight ice storm.

Thankfully, the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the crash and, according to the fire department, the driver of the passenger car was treated on scene and then transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Rock Hill was assisted by RHEMS, Mobilemedic EMS, NY State Police, NYSDOT, Town of Thompson Highway Department, SC Bureau of Fire and Prestige Towing and Recovery.

Great job by everyone involved and as a reminder make sure you pay attention to the weather especially while traveling and if its bad out, change up your plans and if you need to be on the roads, please slow down.
