Some say I am ahead of my time, not. As a matter of fact most everything in my house is "old" even out dated and sometimes that can be a bummer. Where you one of the people who had a house hold appliance play a trick on them this past Sunday? I was and let's just say I wasn't laughing.

I happen to own a Brookstone alarm clock that predates the new Fall Back / Spring Forward times. So on Sunday morning when I got up to go to the IEA Horse Show at Gardnertown Farms at 6:30 am, I had time to shower, dress and even get coffee before arriving on time at 8:00am or at least that's what I thought.

All was going well until Hubby announced "bad news" from the kitchen where he saw the clock on the coffee pot said 7:30am and we realized we had been tricked again by our outdated Brookstone smart clock. The only thing worse than losing the hour in the spring is having it ripped away again unexpectedly in the fall on the "real" fall back weekend by a smart clock..

So this weekend I will get the hour back for real and my Brookstone clock is going to find a new room to live in so it can steal any time any more. Living with old technology can be tough.
