This is my worst nightmare come true.

Over the last few days, I've taken a bunch of heat from people about my dislike for owls. Earlier this week I said on the air that I would go out of my way to run an owl over if I ever had the chance. Yes, I was wrong to say that, but I would still throat punch an owl if I could and this is why.

According to USA Today, AI Porter of Louisville was out hunting for the first time in about three weeks when he was attacked by a pair of barred owls and here is how he says it all went down: "I heard them hooting behind me for 10 or 15 minutes, but I didn't think anything about it. As the sun rose, I just moved my head, I was just scanning the field. I hadn't heard a turkey at all, but I thought one might have come in."

And that's when the attack happened as he felt something hit him in the head. At first, he thought it might've been a tree limb.

"I tried to get it off, but it was stuck, they didn't make a sound. That's why I was trying to figure out what it was. Then I saw all these feathers. I was so confused. They hit me right in the back of the head and hard. I couldn't imagine it was an owl, especially two. I really thought a big limb had hit me in the head."

Yes, the owls attacked him. He said that, "These two were on my back and didn't want to let go, I was just stunned. I never dreamed two owls would get after me. They must have thought they had a big meal."

After he collected himself he stood up and shook off the birds and they flew off unharmed and he was left with as far as I'm concerned the scariest story ever!
