A local woman is accused of sending indecent material to a Hudson Valley child.

On Tuesday, the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center announced the arrest of 34-year-old Falisha Lewis of Kingston for disseminating indecent material to minors and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center the charges stem from an investigation into indecent material sent to a minor in the City of Kingston. Officials didn’t go into more details about the investigation or what was sent to the child.

Lewis was arrested at the State Police barracks in Kingston and was issued an appearance ticket to the City of Kingston Court on May 5. The case was turned over to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit.

The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center is comprised of members of the New York State Police, Ulster County Sheriff’s, Child Protective Services and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.
