Hudson Valley K-9s are all over the news.

It seems that Hudson Valley K-9s have been making the news here in the Valley all summer long. Back in July, five K-9s celebrated their graduation from the graduate training program in Orange County.

Then way back in June K9 Simba, who received a stab and bullet proof vest in November, of the Monroe Police Department qualified for the National Patrol Dog PDI Field Trials and Certification in Alabama later this month.

And we can't forget about the DEC K9 Unit of Dutchess County who received life saving oxygen masks at the Northeast Outdoor Sports Show in May.

We love our K-9 units and want to welcome a new K-9 to the Hudson Valley crew. The New York State Police Troop K introduced us to trooper Louis E. Godfroy IV and his K-9 Graydon.

Graydon graduated State Police Canine Handler Basic School on August 11, 2017 and will be stationed with the team in Brewster.
