"Poughkeepsie high school students take your pick cause I'm coming for you on Thursday March 1st! I'm sick and tired of all the bullies in our school so I'm finally putting an end to all of it In my opinion everyone in this school will be dead," the post read. "No one is safe so watch your back haha I'm coming and if you hide I'll find you."

The threat also included what appears to be a kill list.

The threat was shared on Facebook by Melissa Whitaker who hoped she could alert local officials and authorities. Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro commented in the post and said he sent "the posts to law enforcement."

Shortly after the Poughkeepsie City School District Superintendent announced the entire Poughkeepsie City School District would be closed on Wednesday out of "an abundance of caution."
