Update 10:00 a.m: The Hudson Valley teen who went missing Easter afternoon was found Monday morning. According to Yonkers Police, Jean Carlos Rivera was located by a family member in Albany County.   The family member who located Rivera lives in the Capital Region. Rivera took public transportation from Yonkers to Albany.   He is in good physical condition and has been reunited with family in Yonkers. Police are thanking everyone who shared the story and say social media helped. (Below is the original story) 

Police are searching for a Hudson Valley schizophrenic teen who went missing Easter afternoon.

The search is on for 16-year-old Jean Rivera, of Yonkers. Rivera was last seen Sunday afternoon at his home at 50 Hawthorn Avenue. It's believed he wandered off on his own.

Yonkers Police say Rivera was diagnosed as schizophrenic. Rivera is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, 5'6" tall, and weighing around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing black and grey sneakers, black jeans, white long sleeve T-shirt with a graphic design, and a green and black jacket.
