An Orange County man was arrested and charged after firing gunshots at an occupied vehicle. 

City of Newburgh police arrested Calvin Lembhard, 23, of Newburgh in connection to a shooting that happened on March 30 at approximately 11 P.M.

According to a press release from the New York State Police, it is alleged that Lembhard fired multiple shots at an occupied vehicle. The vehicle was struck multiple times. None of the occupants of the vehicle were struck and no injuries were reported. The names of the occupants have not been released.

The firearm used has yet to be recovered. Lembhard was charged with one count of Attempted Assault in the first-degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second-degree, and Violation of Parole.
