Here's how you can help the Hudson Valley family who lost their father, dog and home after a plane crashed into the house this weekend.

On Saturday, a small plane crashed into a home in Union Vale. Gerard Bocker, 61, Hannah Bocker, 21, and Sarah Bocker, 30, were all inside the Dutchess County home at the time of the crash.

Gerard, the father of the two girls, was killed while Hannah was critically injured and Sarah sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police say. Some of the family's pets were killed while others remain missing.

A Facebook fundraiser was started for the family.

"My friend Sarah Bockers (sic) house got hit by a plane today, she lost her father and her little sister is now in the burn unit at the hospital, she lost her family pets as well and we are trying to look for them. They have no home to go to and nothing to wear etc... any donation would help!! Thank you so much," Catie Corcoran wrote on the fundraiser.

As of this writing, nearly $50,000 has been raised.

The small plane departed from Orange County Airport and stopped for fuel at Sky Acres Airport in LaGrangeville. It was heading from Sky Acres to Farmingdale in Long Island when it crashed into the Dutchess County home around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The pilot of the plane was killed. Two passengers both sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police say. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
