More than 1,400 jobs are expected to be available.

According to the Times Herald Record, when Empire Resorts opens up its doors in March of 2018, they will have hired more than 1,400 people and if you're interested in getting one of those jobs, you may want to check out this event.

It's a job opportunity briefing and its being held at the Ellenville High School auditorium on Monday, May 8 from 6-8 p.m.

Empire Resorts Executive Vice President Charles Degliomini told the Record that they have done similar events in Orange and Sullivan counties and he said

“People don’t know about the jobs that are available, they know there’s a need for dealers, but they don’t know there will be IT jobs, food service jobs and accounting jobs available. We want to tell them about the opportunities.”

This event is not a job fair, so if you plan on attending you do not need to bring your resume.
