Hillary Clinton Spotted in New Paltz

There was quite a sighting in New Paltz on Wednesday.

According to a tweet by New York Times Senior Editor for Politics Carolyn Ryan, Hillary Clinton was at Mohonk Mountain House Wednesday morning in New Paltz.

The tweet, which was published around 1PM on Wednesday, includes a picture of the former presidential candidate on her phone at breakfast. The photo was taken by a former New York Times writer, Mike Smith.

Clinton has made several appearances in the Hudson Valley after her losing the presidential race. She and her husband Bill were seen hiking in Chappaqua when a woman hiking with her daughter ran into the couple and snapped a photo.

The Clintons live in Westchester and have ties to Dutchess County. Chelsea Clinton, Hillary's daughter, was married in Rhinebeck back in 2010, which caused quite the media frenzy in the small town. Take a look at the original tweet below:
