Happy National Puppy Day

Today is a day to celebrate the dog in your life.

March 23rd is National Puppy Day, the day set aside to celebrate the magic and unconditional love that puppies bring to our lives. But more importantly, it's a day to help save orphaned puppies across the globe and educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills.

Celebrity Pet & Home Lifestyle Expert and Author, Colleen Paige started National Puppy Day back in 2006 and its been going strong since.

Do you have a dog? If you do, how did you and the family come up with the name you gave the dog?

Our intern Amy has two dogs at home and she had a pretty cool story as to how her family came up with their names JAK and TEDDY. J A K is the first initials of Amy and her two sisters. Teddy got his name because he looks like a teddy bear.

I dont have a dog at home yet but when we decided to get one I'm leaning towards a sports name, maybe ROMO for my favorite quarterback of all time?
