How are you celebrating today?

Yes today is a holiday and a nice day off for most but we have to remember why most have the day off today?

According to Almanac, Memorial Day is a day for remembering and honoring military personnel who died in the service of their country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle.

Lots of communities here in the Hudson Valley have had celebrations over the weekend and the folks over in Hyde Park have some fun planned for later on this morning.

It's the Annual Hyde Park Memorial Day Parade which steps off at 10 a.m. this morning in the Town of Hyde Park. Be on the lookout for the 94.3/97.3 The Wolf Truck, wrapped in all her glory, in the parade and make sure you make a whole bunch of noise as we make our way through Hyde Park.

Thank you to all the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedoms. Gone but not forgotten!
