We have heard from some more Fire Houses in the Hudson Valley who have great things going on that you and your friend can attend. We are luck in the Hudson Valley to have local fire departments that we can rely on during emergencies. Some fire departments are staffed by paid fire folks and others are manned by volunteers. Either way they provide our communities with a much needed resource. I know my local firemen and women help out during many type of events not just fire calls. They always seem to be front and center when my neighbors and I need them. That's why I think it is important that these great people know that we care about them as well. Check in at your local fire house and see what you can do. Some need volunteers. Some just need you to support their fundraising events.
