On Monday, two Hudson Valley Jewish Community Centers and two others across the state were targeted in the most recent round of bomb threats.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is calling for a full force investigation after Jewish centers in Tarrytown, New Rochelle, Plainview and Staten Island received bomb threats yesterday.

"I share the pain and the outrage of so many New Yorkers who are affected directly and those who are sickened by watching these attacks unfold,” Cuomo said in a press release. “We will not allow anyone to intimidate or strike fear in the state of New York. The full force of government will be brought to bear in these efforts and these perpetrators will be punished."

In response, Cuomo is ordering New York State Police to work with federal and local law enforcement to investigate the hate crimes and arrest the people who are responsible.

"Make no mistake: these reprehensible and cowardly attacks are not limited to the Jewish community,” Cuomo said. “They are assaults on all New Yorkers and I vow that we will do everything in our power to catch those responsible for this wave of hate crimes.”
