This Friday is Veteran's Day, and it's the perfect time to say thank you to all of our veterans for their service and sacrifice. Many businesses, specifically restaurants, around the county also want to do their part by saying thank you and they're doing it with a free meal for Veteran's this Friday.

Military Benefits.com has compiled a list of restaurants nationwide and will be updating that list daily. Here are some of the restaurants, located in the Hudson Valley, who are giving back to our nation's heroes.

Applebee's will be giving a free meal from a limited menu to veterans and active duty military, proof of service required, plus you'll get a $5 coupon to be used on your next visit. Buffalo Wild Wings will give veterans and active duty military a free, small order of wings and a side of fries.

Veterans and active duty military can eat lunch free at Charlie Brown's Steakhouse from 11-3 this Friday. At Chuck E. Cheese, veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free, individual pizza with one topping. Chili's will offer a free meal from a special menu for veterans and active duty military, with proof of service. Chipotle will offer a buy-one-get-one free for selected menu items from 3 pm to close.

Cracker Barrel will give veterans free dessert while at Denny's, veterans will get a free build your own grand slam breakfast from 5 am to noon. Friendly's will give a free dine-in breakfast, lunch or dinner. IHOP will be giving veterans free red, white, and blue pancakes from 7 am to 7 pm.

Ninety-Nine Restaurant will give veterans a free lunch from a special menu from 11-4 and Olive Garden will give a free entree, also from a special menu. Veterans can get a free blooming onion and a beverage on Friday at Outback Steakhouse and Perkins is giving a free magnificent seven meal away.

Veterans can get a free Red's Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries at Red Robin, while Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert.
