The inspections will take place in Ulster County on Saturday September 16th and Sunday September 17th.

You can never be to safe when it comes to your kids and their car seats and according to the Daily Freeman, the free children's car seat inspections will take place on the 16th at the Ellenville Community Hospital, located at 10 Healthy Way in Ellenville, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

If you can't make Saturday, you can go on Sunday the 17th to the ShopRite Plaza located at 258 Main Street in New Paltz from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free seat checks are being offered by state and local law enforcement agencies and are being done by certified child passenger safety technicians.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has also put together a bunch of instructional videos to help parents install the seats properly.
