It all happens this weekend.

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome has announced that on July 8th and July 9th they will be offering Veterans free admission, according to the Daily Freeman.

If you plan on attending this weekend you can expect Color guard presentations and bag pipers, plus the normal Saturday “History of Flight” and Sunday “World War I” air shows.

Other exhibits for the weekend include vintage tractors both days and of course the Aerodrome’s air shows will take place as usual on both days beginning at 2 p.m.

If you are a military veteran and plan on attending all you need to do to get free admission is show your military ID at the gate. The free offer is valid for military personnel, active or retired.

Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome’s museum and grounds are located at 9 Norton Road, Red Hook. They are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
