If your a parent and have an infant that uses one of those stay in place swings, make sure you check to see if its part of this recall.

Fisher-Price has announced that they are recalling 60,000 items including The Fisher-Price Soothing Motion Seat, and the Smart Connect Soothing Motions Seat, both popular infant swings because of several reports of the swing overheating and one case of the swing catching fire, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

There have been 36 reports of the product overheating, including one report of a fire inside the motor housing, no injuries have been reported.

This recall involves Fisher-Price Soothing Motions Seats with model numbers CMR35, CMR36, CMR37, and DYH22 and Smart Connect Soothing Motions Seats with model number CMR39. You can find the model number on the underside of the motor housing.

The swings have been sold at retailers across the country at, Target, Toys R Us, Walmart and online at Amazon from November 2015 through October 2017. The swings sold for around $160 for the Soothing Motions Seat and $175 for the Smart Connect Soothing Motions Seat.

If you find that you have a recalled seat you should immediately stop using it and contact Fisher-Price at 800-432-5437 or online for a full refund.
