Find Out if it is a Treasure or a Trinket

Do you have something in your attic, basement, or garage that you wish you knew more about? If so plan to attend the New Paltz Historical Society's "What is it? What's it Worth" event on Wednesday, September 6th from 7 to 8:30p at the New Paltz Community Center locate at 3 Veteran's Drive in New Paltz.

This fun filled evening will give you a chance to bring a treasure you have been curious about and hopefully find out more about it's origin and it's worth. A suggested donation of $5 per item evaluated will be put towards the New Paltz Historical Society on some of their future endeavors. Plan on bringing only one item to be discussed. If there is time a second item may be looked at and evaluated. Only items discussed will be subject to the suggested donation fee. Attendance to this event is free to the public.

Something you have tucked away in a drawer could be just a curiosity or it could be a real find. Bring on September 6th and let's try to find out the answer.
