Everybody’s Talking About Winter

We are only 1 month into the fall and everyone is already talking about winter weather. Will it be as bad as last year? Will it be cold? How much snow will we get? My favorite conversation to date is people who are counting acorns. Some how the number of acorns is related to winter weather predictions. Ummm ... okay! It is understandable after 2 years of snow in October we might worry, but seriously October 31st is next Friday and it looks like we will not make it 3 in a row. I am going to suggest that we all just prepare for cold and snow and when it doesn't happen throw a party :).

That said I do want to go on record that I want snow on Christmas and one good Nor' Easter in January. Then in the words of Joe Nichols it can be Sunny and 75.
