Additional Information

Join us at Red Hook Public Library for an afternoon of explosive fun from 1:30-3:00 PM on Friday, December 29th!

Lava Day, for students in grades K-5, will be focused on geology and Earth Science. Participants will be building working models of fault lines and volcanic eruptions, simulating the mineral history of the planet, and playing a more factual version of “The Floor Is Lava” than usually imagined!

As with all library events, Lava Day is free and open to the public. However since space is limited, registration is required. Interested families can sign up in person at the Library's Circulation Desk or over the phone at 845-758-3241.
