From crafty to crusty, come celebrate crafting, patch and DIY culture at "Patch at Em, Swap/Sell/Sew" patch & enamel pin-focused indoor flea market happening Sept 1st at Darkside Records in Poughkeepsie, NY. Whether you're into punk, comics or sewing, this event is about creating and promoting our local patch, fashion & design community and will feature artists from across NYS!

Kicking off at noon, we clear out space at Darkside Records so you can shop the regular selection of embroidered and silk-screened patches, enamel pins, 1" pins, denim jacket & vests, new & vintage band shirts, studs, spikes and more. We will also have a bunch of rad local Vendors with their own original patches, pins and artwork for sale, plus stickers and more fun, including Dream in Plastic (Beacon NY), RVictorious (Poughkeepsie NY), Knitting is Metal (Poughkeepsie NY), Knee High Horror (NYC), Rolling Pins (NYC), Trippypins (NYC) and NYC Subway Line (NYCSubwayLine.net).

Get first dibs on a fresh batch of vintage band t-shirts going out for sale. Hear live tunes as we welcome back DJ Unsoundrob who'll be in-house spinning classic heavy metal vinyl. There will also be sewing and ironing stations set up so you can apply your patches right here, or help an older patch in need of a fix. There'll be a button making station where you can make & design your own button! And of course, you can shop our regular selection of vinyl records, CDs, movies, HiFi equipment and gifts.

Darkside Records is the Hudson Valley’s largest independent record shop, located at 611 Dutchess Tpk (Rte 44 in the former OTB building) in Poughkeepsie, voted Best of the Hudson Valley ‘Best Record Store’ for two consecutive years (2015-2016). Specializing in music, movies, hifi audio equipment, gifts and more as well as hosting regular free, all ages live events including an outdoor bazaar, van show, open mic, coloring nights (sponsored by Hudson Valley Tattoo Co), Knitting Nights and live music (including Mike Doughty, Andrew McMahon, Songhoy Blues, Lacuna Coil & The Felice Bros).
