We are excited to announce a keynote address by Dr. Tom Lovejoy, a preeminent conservation biologist and current director of the Center for Biodiversity and Sustainability at George Mason University. Dr. Lovejoy is the recipient of The Blue Planet Prize (2012) in recognition of his contributions to environmental conservation and solving environmental problems, and has strong connections to the Hudson Valley--his love for biology started as a student working at the Trevor Zoo while at the Millbrook School.

Dr. Lovejoy will be on campus for the duration of the Conservation Leaders of Tomorrow Conference. Please join us for his keynote address in Taylor Hall, relating his extensive experiences in conservation on the global stage.

His keynote address is free and open to the public.

The Conservation Leaders of Tomorrow Conference is sponsored by The Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Barns, the Biology Department, the Earth Science Department, and Office of Sustainability with funding from the Environmental Studies Program, the Environmental Research Institute, the Office of Alumnae/i Affairs and Development, and the Office of the Dean of the Faculty at Vassar.
