Enter The NY State Parks 2018 Photo Contest

If you're like me, I am always taking pictures. Whether it's a beautiful sunset, flowers, memories from vacations, I always try to capture it with a photo. If you spent time this year in any NY State Park and you have the photos to prove it, you just might win the 2018 NY State Parks Photo Contest.

All you have to do is explore any of NY State's Parks with a camera and a sense of adventure and you could be on your way to winning the Grand Prize, a camping gift card, Empire Pass, plus a Nikon DSLR camera with multiple lenses, tripod, extra memory, a carrying case, and more.

There are several categories to choose from including Day Trips and Other Adventures, On the Trails and Off the Beaten Path, Connecting With The Outdoors, Camping Life, and Points of Interest. You can get all of the details, including how to submit your photo at nyphotochallenge.com. Submissions will be accepted through November 30, so there's still time to head to your favorite spot and take some photos.

All photos submitted will be online for the public to vote for their favorite and the winner will be announced in January. If you enter a photo, let us know and we can help spread the word.
