Let’s be real. Peanut butter cups are pretty perfect. There is just something about the way the breakfast staple mixes in with chocolate that makes pretty much anything bad in the world go away.

If it wasn’t for the calories, we would eat them all darn day.

But before this inspires you to go grab all of those peanut butter cups in your cupboard still left over from Halloween and eat them all before midnight, we might just have a better idea. In fact, it could be an idea that might not only feed your sweet addiction, but also give you a nice buzz at the same time.

May we introduce you to ...  Drunken Peanut Butter Cups!

The recipe, which we have borrowed from Delish.com, allows lovers of peanut butter cups to unite their favorite chocolate treat with vodka. It does take a little bit of preparation as you must be patient and let the vodka and, in this case, Reese’s Pieces, to chill overnight in the fridge. But the very next day, you’ll be downing this sweet cocktail in no time.

Someone grab us a fancy glass.

Drizzle about a tablespoon of chocolate syrup into each glass. Divide cocktail mixture between glasses and garnish each with a peanut butter cup.

And then invite a friend over, or — as crazy a year as this has been — drink both of them.
