Dolly Parton Announces 2016 North American Tour

Dolly fans rejoice! After the success of her TV movie, “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” which attracted a network record of 15.8+ million viewers and was the most watched movie on network TV in more than 3 years, Dolly is on a hot streak and ready to go.

Dolly has announced that she will be performing in more than 60 cities with her 2106 North American and Canadian Tour this summer. While she has played some select cities and venues over the past 20 years, this marks her first major tour throughout all of North America in over 25 years.

While the set will include her hits, she will also be performing some new music off her new double-disc album 'Pure & Simple with Dolly's Biggest Hits'.  According to her PR firm, Webster Public Relations,  she may perform some songs that haven't been heard live in a long time. The track list for 'Pure & Simple with Dolly's Biggest Hits' hasn't yet been released, but it will contain new music as well as some of her biggest hits.

While they haven't released any tour dates yet, I can only keep my fingers crossed that one of those dates will be close by the Hudson Valley. As soon as I know, I will pass the info on to you.
