Fans of local resident and superstar Daryl Hall will have to wait a little longer to see him perform live, as a tonsil issue has forced him to cancel his New Year's Eve concert at his Pawling nightclub, Daryl's House.

In a post on the nightclub's Facebook page yesterday, the singer announced that his doctors have advised him not to sing in the upcoming weeks. Hall said,

This tonsil thing is a drag, but its giving me time for a well deserved rest. Truth is, I have just been working too hard and sometimes something has got to give. I am chilling, but looking forward to LOTS of stuff next year.
Wishing everyone happy, healthy, safe holidays. See you soon!

Revelers can still party at the famous club on New Year's Eve.  Performing that night will be R&B singer/songwriter Candace Springs, and Live From Daryl's House band member Klyde Jones, playing jazz and funk. Seating is sold out for the party, but general admission tickets are still available here.

We wish Daryl a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him rockin' his House soon!
