Country Music and The Voice.

I'm a huge fan of reality competitions, actually I'm just a fan of TV in general. But growing up I was a diehard American Idol fan and while those reality competitions have kind of fallen off, I will admit  I'm a somewhat fan of The Voice.

What I'm really a fan of though is the judges and the banter and personalities they provide. If it weren't for Blake, Adam, Shakira and Usher I'd probably skip over the show completely. With that being said, out of all the genres that come in and out of the show, the country artists are the only ones who seem to hold their own out in the music industry.

With the Swon Brother's (who didn't even win their season) new single, Later, just being released,  I think it's safe to say that country music has a strong, dedicated fan base that embraces these up and coming artists. Obviously, having Blake Shelton as a coach doesn't hurt either.
