The U.S. Department of Agricultural Food Safety and Inspection Services has announced that Aspen Foods is recalling about 2 million pounds of frozen, raw, stuffed, and breaded chicken that could be contaminated with salmonella.

The USDA received reports of three people in Minnesota who became sick from mid-April to late June after eating Aspen products.  The products that are in question include chicken Cordon Bleu, chicken with broccoli and cheese, chicken Kiev, chicken Parmesan, and buffalo-style chicken. All have the code “P-1358” in the USDA inspection mark.

The products may be labeled under the following names:  Acclaim Antioch Farms , Buckley Farms, Centrella Signature, Chestnut Farms ,Family Favorites, Kirkwood, Koch Foods, Market Day, Oven Cravers,Rose, Rosebud Farm, Roundy's, Safeway Kitchens, Schwan's, Shaner's, Spartan, and Sysco
