Blue Moon Hike on Saturday

Once again this year we will get to enjoy a Blue Moon. For this celestial event you and your friends are invited to come out for a walk under the moon and the stars. The Mohonk Preserves partnership with the Winnakee Land Trust is the reason that members can enjoy this event happening on Saturday March 31st at Drayton Grant Park on Burger Hill in Rhinebeck for free. The park is located just south of Violet Road on Route 9G. The hike will be from 7p to 8:30p. Full Moon hikes offer great views of the moon and in the case of this location amazing views of the Hudson Valley landscape.

The cost is $5 per person and children under 12 are free to attend. This is a family friendly event. The event is free to Winnakee Members and Open Field Society. Member of the Mohonk Preserve will also be admitted free due to the partnership between the Preserve and Winnakee Land Trust. If you miss this Blue Moon you will have to wait until May of 2019 to catch the next one.
